Boxes, Buckets, and Beyond

Imagine waking up from a nap at work, only to find the entire establishment deserted. You're all alone, except for the eerie silence and the faint hum of the building's machinery. You have no idea how long you've been asleep, or how you're going to get out. This is the scenario you find yourself in when you play Boxes, Buckets, and Beyond (2014), a short side-scroller game that heavily draws inspiration from The Stanley Parable with multiple endings.
